Although the proportion of domestic bauxite used by alumina enterprises in the Jin-Yu region increased last month, the share of imported bauxite still remains relatively high. Moreover, the use of high-priced bauxite has peaked, and with changes in mining sources and variations in ore quality, the unit cost of alumina bauxite in February still showed a significant upward trend. Considering the sharp decline in alumina prices, both imported and domestic bauxite prices have come under pressure, and there is an expectation of a potential decline in ore costs in the long term.
