Due to the increasing frequency of rain and snow, the spot market for alumina in Xinjiang has seen noticeable price premiums. Currently, the spot price in warehouses is concentrated between 6030-6080 RMB per ton. The total supply is limited, and price negotiations are frequent, with small to medium-scale transactions being more common. These transactions are mainly driven by domestic aluminum plants, which are making temporary replenishments to mitigate supply risks caused by changes in weather conditions.
